Huh; I definitely don't think Philly's accent is closer to NYC's than Bawlmer's—-both Philly & Bmore have the weird dipthongs that I've never heard in any other accent, though the latter shades more Southern; I don't think Philly & NYC share much in common at all—-but I had to upvote for reminding me of the joys of

Huh; I've lived most of my life in the NE, and they remain pretty distinct to me—-Boston most of all, being non-rhotic and all.

Philadelphia/Southern NJ/DE/Baltimore all basically have the same accent, with local variations.

It wasn't Nick Kroll in Pawnsylvania good, but it was better than average, I'd say.

The two accents are pretty similar, except in Baltimore, you call people 'hon' a lot.

I thought Dennis's was pretty on point for a non-native.

I feel like I'm late to the game with Lagunitas, so I'm not burned out on it yet, but I'm with you on Sierra Nevada. It doesn't help that their beers all tend to have the same (or similar enough to my palate) kind of hoppiness.
