Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is based on a novel of the same name that's the 4th part of a pentalogy, and I think the sequel is going to be based on the 5th part, Iron Knight, Silver Vase. So while I'd expect the adaptation of the universe to be different, expanding on the universe shouldn't be a problem.

I hope that's right. I think it's certainly right that that's the intent; the final episode makes that crystal clear. And it makes the people who really relate to Rust95's philosophizing all the more of a downer.

I've watched the first two episodes again as HBO's been re-airing the series after Boardwalk Empire, and for some reason I've been watching Boardwalk Empire, so why the hell not, I figured.

The highs of TNG, X-Files, and Fringe are higher than those of Twin Peaks?

I'm also not going to do the research (read: googling) to back up this assertion, but I think The Killers (and the frontman in his solo career) are a pretty reliable source of heinous crimes against syntax.

Wait, seriously?!

Part of me loves the idea, too.

I'm honestly not sure which way the punchline should go on that one.

They're just letting you know what to expect.

He was being ironic, too.

Is McConaughey's wife Cabalasian?

Wondering the same thing. Kind of makes me want TD to win, because the band does the theme so much better.

No, it's because Ozymandias was fucking amazing.

The other thing, which shouldn't technically be considered but I don't know how you avoid it, is Cary's work over the whole of the series.

Good god damn, she is going to kill that shit.

Yeah, about that …

No wonder she gives me a boner.

Watched most of the first season, liked it a lot, fell off for no good reason, and keep procrastinating on starting up again.

Wait, that's how you pronounce it?!

What's the last cuneiform letter?
