Oh, Carson was the absolute master of shit like that. I assume it goes without saying that the only reason I didn't name him was because I was sticking to current hosts only.

Yeah. Whatever Fallon's merits & demerits as a host of a late night talk show, he doesn't have the quick wit of Conan, Letterman, or Ferguson that can put an unexpected spin on a mediocre monologue joke or an otherwise sagging interview.

Yeah, that's where I'd put my money. Could be pretty entertaining, just because McEnroe's probably still really good at the net.

More like Serena playing McEnroe.

Yeah, sorry, I was agreeing with you.

A confused old man who'd thrashed Margaret Court, the top-ranked women's player, 6-2, 6-1 a few months before he played King.

Riggs was the retired one, though he had played a similar exo against then-#1 Margaret Court not long before he played King.

A Connors/Borg/McEnroe movie could pretty good.

That the lack of agency is the point is definitely the best argument in the show's favor when it comes to its depiction of women, and it may even turn out to be true, but man, is it ever convenient.

Yeah, until that final sequence, I would've been kind of disappointed with the episode overall. The things I've liked best about the show so far weren't as prominently featured, and, absent some bravura cinematography & direction, that last sequence probably would've felt like filler.

Yeah, it didn't occur to me until a couple minutes later why I was digging my nails into my palms. It's like Russian fucking Ark as an action movie.

Wait, I can argue about Israel/Palestine, right here on AVClub?

Am I looking in a mirror? It's like we share a microbiome …

I'll tell you a secret …

I've got a confession: I can't burp.

In a standoff with Art, no less!!!

Didn't make sense to me either, but the implication (I think?) is that he's going to use the bodies to get at Hotrod, somehow. Don't know how. Don't even know if that's right.

My guess? 'INVEIGLE', playing off the G, with V on a triple letter score.

Wait, can anyone tell me if other people can see which comments I like? Asking for a friend.

I have this unsettling idea that the final season of Justified sees Raylan in a non-Federal role.
