@jktechwriter: This was their answer to losing the war.

@TehBeardMan: I kinda feel the same, although jokingly I mentioned to my boss he should get me a treadmill for my desk

@Terry: That's AWESOME...I love the quote.

@SunandiniSmelt: I agree with your statement, which is the lesser of two evils?

I think the biggest benefit of using google services is that they're all in one place....it would drive me crazy to have to go to like 5 different sites to get everything done....i don't know maybe it's just me...or maybe that's why they've become so popular.

@GlennA: also careful, soda in bottles may be under pressure, don't open the bottle lid towards your eyes.

So I gotta wonder if Gabor tried working at google when he finished his degree/interning, and google said....nah you just don't have what it takes to be an actual employee....then google kinda had to eat their own words when they bought the s/w company he built.....LOL, Interesting thought, I would much like to get

@UnMicD: I don't like phone particularily when people leave messages, I hate having to put in all my info just to hear someone say "hey it's person x call me back", that's a bigger waste of time, I personally like to avoid calling in the first place but if I have to, I usually try not to leave a message, and just

This is great, I'll be making pancakes....when's waffle day?

So 50,000 homes have 10 people in them?

@pixelsnader: I am in a computer engineering degree program so I don't see this being something that would be helpful in programming hardware or really anything I would need it for, but then I guess maybe I'm a special case senario and most of the rest of the world will bow down to the iPad. Thus far my netbook has

I'll take 2 netbooks over this +1

@nortexoid: I was relating it (although poorly) to the fact that if you aren't the default option for whatever software that's being installed or whatever, you're going to lose market share because most people just use the default and leave it at that....now with Linux "generally" most users are more likely to tweak

Did they do any kind of ergonomic testing on this thing? I cant imagine having this thing in my lap or at a desk, looking down and typing the whole time I'm working on something. Plus unless you buy a hard case (of course patented by apple) you'll be stuck with something you're afraid to stick in a bag for fear of

@Michael Huang: Uhhhh What phones have you been buying that you have to sit in a store for hours to get activated, I'm pretty sure I've been ordering my phones off the internet and activating them over phone for quite some time (pre iPhone)

@nortexoid: So do you think Google "OS" will allow you to install another web browser? I mean technically they're doing what M$ got slapped on the hands for right? (albeit in a lot sneakier way...as in "that's the OS")

I had heard at one point Windows 7 allows you to select which Browser to install during installation (rather then the default IE), are we going to have to start doing that with the default search engines....sheeshhh that's going to be getting annoying....I guess when I search I actually go to [google.com] still, so

@Ryan Nevius: I really personally haven't found much of a use for it, but I think one big reason for it is that well......not alot of my friends are on it....I suppose we could use it for code collaboration...I.E. the second person could be reviewing as I'm writing and make any comment/suggestions or corrections as
