88 XJ 4WD Limited I bought new in 88. Kept it....33 years as a daily driver. Sold it last year with 522k on it. Never went in the engine for anything. Awesome vehicle.

Got no issue with the pic at the top. They test rabbit eyes instead of mine. I’m A-OK with that. Buck up, Losers.
I speed like a MF’er. Not just when I’m late, but being a sportbike rider in LA for 25+ years, I speed EVERYWHERE AND AT ALL TIMES when driving my cage. Oh...and being a passenger? Forget it. I’m the worst. The entire time we may be talking, but in my mind I’m shouting “GET ON THE GAS!!!” I will say in my defense that…
I’ve been lane-splitting here in SoCal for 22 years now, every morning and every evening. Never had a single incident.
Here’s an idea to protestors: Don’t block the fucking road. How’s that, Jackfucks?
“…as a result of the aforementioned Jeep-Owner Snow Mound Temptation that has baffled psychologists since 1941. “
Yep. I did it in Yosemite one year. I waited in line in a parking lot while a limp-wristed Subaru driver took eons to pull into a space that was cleaned by the plow driver at the hotel. Fucker made a big…
Damn straight. My ‘88 XJ Limited 4WD had one too. Little black vented thing, about the size of a roll of quarters.
Oh please. Mileage ain’t nothing but a number. I recently sold a bone-stock 1988 4WD Limited Jeep XJ (I’ll pause here while David gets his pants off....) that I bought new in ‘88 and daily-drove for 32 years. Had 322,000 miles on it (just barely broke-in in Jeep lingo.) Never had any engine issues or had any work in…
My VFR800 will pull 175 miles on a full tank. After that, I get nervous. My ZX-10 with a big bore kit (now 1100cc’s) easily gets me over 165 miles on a full tank, and that thing is a monster off the chain.
I’m an outlier: I don’t give a fat fuck about the environment, and my last car I bought new and drove for 33 years and over 300k miles.
You guys know our boy Tracy has got one foot out the door/country already, right? I think he’s just burning up some extra vay-cay time before the official announcement...
I’d start with what I have now:
Oh just get it off PirateBay like everyone else and watch it on a laptop or throw it on your media box of choice.
Every car (and motorcycle) I’ve bought has been out of the state I currently lived in. I always found a better deal at dealerships across state lines. I’ve flown cross country for vehicles before and just driven them back. To keep all the “buying state vs. home state” nonsense to a minimum, I’ve always told the…
