Welling’s scene isn’t pure fan service even - it serves a plot point .... albeit to get to more fan service. The Depowered Clark is “not fun” for Lex to kill/erase (think about how difficult it would be for Cryer’s Lex to imagine giving up that much power willingly). I love that the summary for the episode was just “Fans like Don and Darlene”, and they got a an appropriate good bye, but nothing too perfect in the world of Mr. Robot.

I assume. That totally makes sense for the appropriate antagonist level and why they go with Max Lord.

Diana has always been hard (and I think a reason a movie was so long in coming) because they literally change her origin story - both her birth and how Wonder Woman becomes an identity. Flash is at least multiple different people.
