I understand how it may feel for victims of domestic abuse to watch this defamation trial and see how it ended. However, to equate the results of this particular trial with erasing the progress that has since been made from Gamergate and the Me Too movement is absurd.

Meh. I had to look up who she was after all the comments. Canadian here, so not up on all the US politics.

For my part, I had no idea who she was when I watched the episode this morning. The scene was framed in such a way that I felt like I’m supposed to know her, unfortunately, which pulled me out of it a bit, but overall by the time she’d descended the ramp and started speaking to Rillis, I was mostly past that.

So is this something that is specific to COVID or do we see similar increased inflammation after someone gets sick with a different virus?
