Incredibles 2 was entertaining but underwhelming. The villain and larger plot were weak and every major set piece is basically the same (family tries to stop a big object before it crashes into something else). I’ll be happy if Vice, Green Book, Bohemian Rhapsody go home empty handed. Which is to say I’m probably going to be disappointed with the winners this year. I wasn’t a fan of Roma either. It’s gonna be a long night.

With Hunk you can sneak past most of the zombies if you get the pathing just right. I found the key is saving ammo and grenades for certain bottlenecks.

Play REmake HD (modern control options make it slightly easier to stomach), then Resident Evil 2 remake, then Resident Evil 4, then Resident Evil 7. Those are the best in the series IMO. If you can’t stomach REmake’s archaic design (I love it but let’s be honest it’s not for everyone) then just skip to RE2. RE’s…

Reminds me of Overlord, a Nazi zombie movie that was surprisingly light on Nazi zombies but very heavy on weak plotting (oops I stumbled into this secret Nazi lab, whelp time to sneak back out undetected, ok now I gotta go back in, all while my friends are going into and out of this house and generally making a ruckus)…

I hit a similar wall with Awakening. It was my first FE game and I was blown away by it at first. But eventually it hit a point where I dreaded the next prolonged battle. I started avoiding it for other games and never picked it up again. 

I spent all my free time last weekend beating Leon’s campaign in RE2. Looks like I’ll be playing Claire’s B campaign this weekend.
