The MTG event was in California, in the United States, and even the protester said Blitzchung inspired him so it may not have even happened if not for the Blizzard controversy.

There are also some games with mindless side activities that require no attention, and then the small screen becomes a big advantage (Xenoblade Chronicles 2). Small screen can be an advantage either way and it can be worth mentioning if you provide context.
Many corporations have tenets, or values, or whatever they want to call them. And in my experience they are almost always bullshit. I don’t mean to sound overly cynical but most company mottos are aspirational and not based in reality.
I hope protesters are present and they do have a voice, but I also hope nothing crazy happens. Most of the people up there talking and answering questions have nothing to do with the Blitzchung controversy and have to put themselves out there. Maybe up until last month they were proud of what they were about to show…
The difference is people (unreasonably) expect Blizzard, and other video game companies, to be somehow different and morally superior to other big corporations. American lifestyle is so dependent on cheap Chinese labor and people don’t want to confront that, they want to something to focus blame on. All these other…
These kind of games can be difficult to have a good relationship with. I mostly play these types of games because I like the idea of playing a persistent character that can basically go on an endless series of adventures. But I feel the RPG and “progression” mechanics are just there to keep people playing and are not…
I had no idea what was going on in Hong Kong, and I probably wouldn’t have paid it any mind either before this whole Blitzchung fiasco, so mission at least partially accomplished?
I didn’t get the season pass but the only thing i’m really missing is instant access to the new specializations. I only got past the first tier of challenges for the gunner before I gave up trying to unlock it (other games have since taken up my time, including Destiny 2).
Given the decently big non-gaming sponsors they’ve been able to secure (Coca Cola, Toyota, T-Mobile, Bud Light), I really wonder if this is just a case of them having a product they believe in, and trying to position it to make back money for the long term.
I’m a little conflicted about this. As far as competition it kind of sucks to see one team steamroll over in any finals type situation, but it is comforting that a team like SF that was built for OWL over the last 2 seasons can have success over a prebuilt team like Vancouver that was just brought in from contenders…
Besides story missions, if you are playing weekends, make sure you visit Xur for an invitation of the nine each week. The quest does require you to do a strike and some light farming of enemy types, but turning in each one gets you a nice little cutscene for your trouble that seems to tease threats to come. They’ll be…
I can’t play Goldeneye now becuase the control scheme I used, “Solitaire” is basically the modern FPS scheme where one hand controls movement and the other looking, but, movement was on the C buttons so it was completely reversed. Between Goldeneye and Halo I sort of was able to figure out for myself what the…
It is exactly the opposite for me, I am so jealous of those people who haven’t finished the story yet. This is one of those times where I wish I could erase a game from my brain to play it over again. Take your time and enjoy it. I tried taking my time but I ended up going through it quickly not just to get to max…
