i agree with this.

as a side note, if an autonomous car hits and kills someone (only time until it does)... that too should fall on the maker of the car, not the passenger riding in it. someone who isn’t in control of the car should not be prosecuted for manslaughter if the “proven and tested” autonomous electronic system fails.
