Oh, Bog!
Oh, Bog!
A big point with the ‘80s Japanese cars were that they were designed to be worked on. Fuel pump bad in an ‘80s Sentra? NBD: go get new pump&sock, pop the rear seat cushion, undo the little hatch under there, then you’re right where the lines go into the tank. 2hours it took me-including the parts-store run.
Are you perhaps under 35 and from Arizona? The thin, poorly ( or non- ) rustproofed floorboards of many 70s cars could terminally rust through in just 2-3 winters in the salt-treated Rust Belt.
Lots of anecdata out there. I had two friends that had these.. both had repeated and serious problems. Mostly electrical.
I was going to say tires.. just stop selling overpriced cars on shit tires. We need premium tires.
The “cars depreciate/don’t borrow to buy it” advice misses the obvious: cars can make you money. For most people, they need a car to get to work. And no, public transit is not a realistic option for most Americans.
Dig the dad humor, amigo. Star for you
cool colors
First of all, it’s a DEPRESSION, and we are ALREADY IN IT!!!!!
It’s cute how these twenty and thirty somethings get all nostalgic and romantic over those old 70s crap can cars. I lived through the horror of a new Vega that would just stop running. In the middle of the road. In January Detroit. I rode in my aunts cute little Datsun that had so many rust holes in it the heater…
Wasnt this trend also influenced from the last recession with the introduction of premium compacts? If any trends evolve from a possible recession I’d like to see more practical mid-size and full sized cars with more options of wagons/hatchbacks.
“clean tittle”
How many manuel transmissions?
UFC's standing behind Jones is one of the main reasons I am not watching anymore
after headliner Jon Jones was found to have a small trace of a banned substance in his blood
Thank you for reporting on this. Not sure why we continue to lionize law enforcement when they don’t do basic things, like assisting citizens known to be in danger.
My modding ethos has been the same idea, expressed differently: “do it once, do it right.”
I kinda want to drop a Tesla powertrain into a bro-dozer now.
They are banned, as in, they don’t meet DOT standards. Lack of enforcement is the problem.
In their defense...
