I think you bring up a good point, but television like that's existence shouldn't be acknowledged. You shouldn't encourage viewers, network executives, or anyone else to have anything to do with it by writing about it. Don't even go there, just pretend like it doesn't exist for the good of everybody.

How many articles have you seen written about Lena Dunham's nudity? I'll find you the links of the scores of links from websites like HuffPo, Jezebel, etc. where the thesis is "Lena Dunham ignores exercise and diet advice, why can't you?"

I dunno…I like Sons. I can see how some people don't like it, for me it's standard fun television with enough interest in the characters to make you want to see more. I suppose another issue is that unlike Dexter the show's quality ebbed and flowed between seasons rather than one nosedive. 1,2,4, were very good. 5

S1-4 probably around an eight to nine. S4 probably sat around 9ish, maybe a ten for the final episode of S4…at the very least a high 9. The show went down hill fast. I think they could have saved it had they not tried to extend it for four seasons. because I thought each season had an important arc to the story and

What's the point of having grades if they don't matter?

Perhaps that, maybe Cohle/Hart kill the big pastor guy…these two guys walk in on them see it, think the wrong thing and kill the two of them.

He still probably will. Either that or Rust/Hart solve the case and the black detectives kill them when they walk in on the reveal scene.

Girls is probably the worst show that I can think of that's worth being discussed or used as a comparison. Not my cup of tea, I think it's being embraced by people who really shouldn't attach themselves to the show, kinda like how I get mad when actual nerds like Big Bang Theory. A bunch of upper middle class white

So, in other words, they're taking the credibility away from their own grades. I agree that HIWYM shouldn't be held to the same standard of The Wire, but you're ruining the character of the grades by using the same scale. Which is why I prefer a traditional 10 scale

My guess is The Yellow King kills them. Is the finale only an hour or are we getting an hour and a half?

That and you have extremely powerful interests that they're going against, they have nothing…these enemies have everything. It's a slow burn to reveal The Yellow King. That's fine…also worth noting: tonight's Girls got an "A"

It's almost like you're saying "Fans of good TV, stop reading ASAP"

Well it's the last season, they're trying to wrap up several arcs:  Masuka has always been a likable character with relatively nothing, in a show with very little happiness it'd be nice to see something end right.  Think of it as Pearlman becoming a Judge.  Dexter started out as this stone killer trying to fit in,

I've watched it with an open enough mind.  Let me put it this way: every Sherlock Holmes story is a rip off.  My favorite band is Metallica, they've "borrowed" plenty from other artists but they've pulled it off miraculously well.  Same goes for Led Zeppelin.  What I can't stand is rip offs of rip offs of rip offs.

Elementary is a shitty rip off of a Sherlock.  Lucy Liu as Watson?  GTFO.  Dexter once upon a time was a great show.  Right now people are only watching out of loyalty to the characters.  The episodes are self contained, and neither show has really been on long enough to get really terrible.

Well, no.  Watch CSI or the Mentalist.  Both shows lasted far longer than they should.  Will Jane catch Red John?  Oh wait…ratings were better than we thought so were going seven.  Fuck it.  Deus Ex Machina.  The Sara Slide story line?  SMH.

The writing really doesn't give him a reason for effort.

Yeah, after SNF and Breaking Bad I was wondering how I was going to sleep.  Well, I have my answer.  Two more episodes goddamnit.  I'm not quitting, no matter how much they want me too.  Ugh.  It used to be a good show, now? Motherfucking awful.  Slightly better than CBS procedurals.

Wynn Duffy isn't dead because the television gods are fair and just.  Same goes for Saul Goodman.

Oh, I guess him and "the guys" wanted to ducttape that nerdy homeschooled kid to the flagpole.  He was more of a nerd while kind of being a bully.
