As the palaces burn is my favourite and likely will not be topped, I have enjoyed all of them they have not made a bad album in my opinion and this is one of the stronger ones.

Maybe listen to the album before writing it off without hearing a note based on three phrases. There is clean singing in half of one song, they have not even close gone the route of avenged sevenfold and sound nothing like killswitch.
This album is great in my opinion their best in long time.
