I don't think any of Roman Polanski's film are being Hollywood produced. Most of his film are produced by French and other European companies. Even The Pianist. Blame StudioCanal, the big French company.

Hey, we liked him in 2 Guys, A Girl and Pizza Place, and in Van Wilder (I kinda liked him in Blade Trinity, even thought the film kinda suck, pun not intended). I guess all of does character are kinda similar and also similar to Deadpool.
I think I like Desperado more than Once Upon a Time in Mexico because it so simple, while Once… has so many characters, and a convoluted plot. I do really like some of what Johnny Depp does in the end of the film, and it was made 2 years before Pirates was released, but not released until after Pirates (I can't…
"You will always be my bodyguard, Keats".
I hope not. Because I don't need Donald Trump live to he become 150 years old. We all know a cure will just mean all the rich asshole will live forever, and make sure nobody else will.
I assume he will do the same thing he did with Undisputed 2, and write at least long paragraph about it.
Only me that wanted to hear about "Takedown", the film about Kevin Mitnick that he did with Russell Wong and Tom Berenger, directed by the guy who did "Phantoms". I remember I owned that on VHS and watched it a lot. I was very interested in hacking when I was a teenager.
They where set in the Gulf war, in Iraq January 1991 (or was it 1990?). I also state that the films came out in 1996 and 1999. You might have just read my post very fast as I did mention the release years. I just simple mention Iraq without mentioned the year and the Gulf War. I just thought it was implied with the…
I thought it was too loony toons and cartoony for my taste. I more about the Donnie Yen stuff like Ip Man-series, and the next film they are reviewing Killzone and Flashpoint etc. I think I have avoided every film that Kung Fu Hustle inspired. I didn't much care for Shaoline Soccer, and while Kung Fu Hustle was funny…
At least it mostly stayed away from Asian cinema (there was a few occasionas). The one that just it a little bit like The Raid, knew how to use it well.
Has anyone scene Paul Greengrass tv-film for 1996 called "The One That Got Away". It's based on the book and experience that Chris Ryan has as a SAS operator in the Iraq where the mission went very wrong. In 1999 there was made a film called "Bravo Two Zero" starring Sean Bean, about the same thing, this time based…
Probably because of how Paul Greengrass infected American action cinema with his style. Even Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down didn't have that big impact on shaky cam action compare to what this film had.
Bourne Legacy does a lot of the same things that Bourne Identity does with including a partner for Bourne. It even is kinda a character study of Aaron Cross, the scene with Oscar Isaac are interesting, and how disposible the assassins are. Just give them a pill and kill them.
The best action film of 2002 hasn't yet to be mentioned, but it is the French action film The Nest (Nid de guepes). It's a brilliant re-telling of Assault of Precinct 13th directed by Florent Emilio-Siri, who later did the Bruce Willis film Hostage.
Riccardo Scamarcio is most known in America, and probably the rest of the world as the bad guy in John Wick: Chapter 2.
Everyone gets old except for Kevin Bacon. Dunn is only 3 years older then Bacon. Bacon is 60 years old next year, celebrating 40 years since he debuted in Animal House. Bacon still got kinda a youthfull look. He probably still get offered the same type of roles he did 15 years ago.
Stomare has played so many Russian's that he should become a honorary Russian (even thought I don't think he would like that). Who doesn't remember his crazy Russian cosmonauts from Armageddon?
Not anymore. It was released yesterday, with some additions.
Loki was wrong, but he can't be Odin, because he has both his eyes (was Loki the only Norse trickster God?). I don't know, it doesn't really matter. My point was just that I didn't feel the review actually spoiled anything, or perhaps I was too stupid to see the spoiler.
But did the first review spoil it, because I did read it two weeks ago. and I don't remember what god Ian McShane plays.
