This doesn’t make much financial sense, but it would be really nice if Nintendo gave people who bought Mario Kart 8 and/or its DLC some sort of discount for this game. I’m intrigued, but I’ve already spent ~$70 on this title and I’m not too keen on throwing in another $60.

That’s Archer. He’s chill. The waving one is the culprit.

I’d have a much more pleasant time if I could register a deer or a skeleton horse as a mount.

Some of this is pretty arbitrary, but I agree completely with the points about Weapon Swap and Food Shortcuts.

I dropped out of Hearthstone a while ago, but it seemed to have a really weird dissonance. Developers seemed to really enjoy making very RNG based, wild mechanics that can have incredibly variable results while the rest of the game seemed to emphasize competitive play.
Plus the game discouraged playing more than a few

That’s literally Timesplitters.

And yet here you are, on an Esports article. The mind boggles.

Reminds me of something...

Before the talent...aka the kids who sit around and do nothing while “the help” set all this crap up for babies to come in and cry about every little thing. They should feel lucky they are even getting a tent, we shouldn’t glorify e-sports as all they are kids playing games and somehow getting paid better and more

Sorry? You get it or you don’t. Your statement puts you firmly on both sides of the line.

“The talent?” Bitches, this stage is here and you get to walk on it because of the help. If you’re so talented, figure out how to get yourself some fucking food.

While I do kind of get the complaint, “the help is getting their food before the talent!” is kiiiiiind of petty

Oh god, are you one of those Melee people?

I thought for sure the right stick would be yellow.

Eh, my last PC took me less than three hours to build, worked the first time I turned it on, and has been running fine for four years. They’re not that tough to put together anymore.

The same way people threw Wii Remotes into their TV screens - people are careless and/or dumb.

I’ve had a Switch since launch, I move it from the dock a few times a day and there are no scratches from the dock. How the hell are people putting this thing in that it’s scratching the screen? And the exhaust port is on the top, where the hell are these people placing it that they’re worried about blocking the vent?

Because there is nothing to worry about. A lot of overblown drama about all of this.

It’s almost as though it’s some kind of commentary on the pointlessness of collecting useless shit in video games...

I feel the same way. Having those little puzzles everywhere makes the world feel so much more detailed, and gives a nice bonus for naturally exploring.

That’s exactly it! There’s no like, glowing red sign saying Korok seed puzzle, but you look at something and go “huh, that looks kinda funny” and then you get pulled halfway across a mountain just cause three trees stood in a row funny.
