This should be amusing for about 15 seconds.

So are we ready for mass production of the next step beyond carbon fiber? Carbon nanotube products? I would like a bicycle made out of carbon nanotubes. And I don't mean carbon fiber with some carbon nanotubes mixed in. I mean made from scratch with carbon nanotubes.

I'm tired of the miniscule upgrades every generation. I've outgrown these devices despite Apple's ecosystem. I want something more dang nabbit!

Carriers are stupid dumbpipes and that is all they are and all that they should be!

@achalddave: I had the same thought. I read "Courier" and thought it was Microsoft's tablet back from the dead.

I've been working 12 hour shifts at work for the past week including the weekend....as well as labor day. And it looks like it's going to be more of the same for the coming week.

@DanceOfD3ath: This is what gets me about Apple. Yes, there is an opportunity here for Apple to go after serious runners who need a deeper analysis of their training. Why? Because some people (including you) have to actually go to a warehouse to have your form analyzed. Apple could design something so you wouldn't

@tomsomething: Probably not from an accelerometer. Read the link below. It will give you an idea why cadence sensors would need to be on one of the shoes.

If you need to know your cadence your still going to need a sensor in your shoe.

@alek2407: Well the thing is it's confirmed that there is a mic on the back of the 4th gen ipod touch. But if this new ipod touch has facetime then that implies it's going to have a mic in front as well. But since the first gen, iPod touches have not had mics at all.

Vibrating motor? Great.

@Sprzout: Haha! I feel for ya dude. I guess you'll be helping some more cyborgs connect their brains to the internet. :P

@Sprzout: Is it calls from people who don't know their router from their toaster? Or is it actual service outages?

Have fun on labor day all. As for me, I'll be at WORKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Andrew Keller: Potentially? Well are you the type to trust someone else's experiment and dip your hand in liquid nitrogen with the above mentioned bubble protection technique?

@MarcusMaximus: Phew! Ok then. I guess I'm still interested in this device.

@MarcusMaximus: I just heard from another forum that Google doesn't allow access to their market with WiFi. Is this true? What the hell??

@MarcusMaximus: Yes if your device is a 3G cell phone. But I want this device not on a 3G contract....pay as you go data plan perhaps. But the point is my device may not always be wireless connected to the internet. But I still want a way to purchase apps and sync em later.

@QLAB: Yeah, double twist for sure. But I'm not used to the android market place and if i was home I would rather be able to browse and get apps through a desktop browswer and sync to my device. If I'm on the road then I'd look at gettings apps from the over the air marketplace or side load an app.

So will I be able to buy this device without some sort of silly 3G contract in the US? Is there a wifi only version? Will this thing be upgradeable to Gingerbread?
