The Lego "Left Behind" Movie

You're overlooking that moment in revolutionary history where a bunch of time travelling bloggers, rather than doing a basic copy edit of their work, go back to the First Continental Congress and cook brunch. A brunch that includes a very untasty and undercooked Eggs Benedict. The rest is history.

So what is the twist that will be saved by "Chekov's Candi Caruso?" I also eagerly await the Kent and Ben spinoff. They're the original Odd Couple!

"Bond losses push down the Dow … I see Connery as Bond." I use that line frequently to this day. One of my favorite Altman films.

The soda ordering bit is perfect Galifankis and I hope is the essence of this show. I loved it.

This has a nice beat and I can dance to it.

So Lady Gaga sings an overly-produced cover of "Hotel California" in the first or second episode?

Thought that, too. There's nothing at all wrong. While we're at it, let's remake McCabe and Mrs. Miller. It's time.

The Reverse Martingale on him must be through the roof.

The IceCliff Cometh.

Love and Sausages runs through my head every. single. time. I make sausages. While it isn't my favorite sketch of their's ("Nobody likes us, everybody hates us…" if I had to pick… or Bruce running into his older, fatter self.), Love and Sausages is surely the most impactful. By a mile.

Oof. That's the toughest part… :)

Not to be contrary to the overall point, because there is a part of it that is true, but I recently did the reverse. Left LA and So Cal after a lifetime and moved to Iowa. Begrudgingly, but it's changing. In Des Moines (meh), but I LOVE Iowa City. Great town.

I'd rather innovation be recognized for not being shoved in your face, frankly. I appreciated the technique, but then it just became about "oh, how will they not cut" before you go to a transition clearly only there to give a cut but leave the conceit. I don't know. Just feels like an art school experiment that's

"The Theory Of Everything, American Sniper, and The Imitation Game… meh."

Agreed. Not sure why all the hate about Big Hero 6. It was one of the better Disney/Pixar movies in recent history, imho, and I'd have no problem with it winning. That said, I'd agree The Lego Movie should've been nominated and Dragon 2 should not have.

I remember reading that this was possibly close to mvoing forward… can't remember where. It would make sense. It's a boomer-pleasing story and some recognizable songs. Isn't my fave Sondheim, but the more the merrier.

Yes to Tick Tick and Merrily. I love Merrily greatly, though the scenes they did for the HBO Sondheim doc left me feeling like it would not do well as a movie in today's market.

That's more on the actor. Listen to Norbert Leo Butz on the recording of the original recording from the show. Jordan is a smoothed-out millennial by comparison.

Been saying it since the good response for Into The Woods: Assassins needs to be a movie. Granted, I've been saying that for years, but only now does it not sound like the rantings of someone the Secret Service should be monitoring.
