“with surprising frequency”

Exactly... I already knew how ideologically extremists they were at Kotaku, but now we have the confirmation they are also morally bankrupt.

Right? People just pile down on gamers that criticize the censorship of boob jiggle (see the last “controversy” about Zenless Zero Zone) but labelling them as “immature”, “incels”, “toxic” and so on, but when dick jiggle is added, we should be all on board and find it a great addition? Double standard much?

But still no boob jiggle :(

OK I’m not American here but... who the heck is Nathan Fielder?! I’m pretty much in tune with the US pop culture (even too much I’d say sometimes) and this is legitimately the first time I’ve heard about or seen this guy.

I tend to err on the side of not doing or saying something if I think it will offend someone. If I do manage to offend someone and I find out, I immediately apologize and attempt to learn more about it if they are willing to talk to me about it so I know for next time.

I’m sorry we haven’t been able to understand each other but I am not responsible for your misinterpretation of my words, as I think I did enough to present my point of view about the issue presented in this article, and about slavery in general.

Look, I understand the feeling and on a purely ethical standpoint, I am 100% with you.

You didn’t notice it at first, right? The vast majority won’t either. Of those who will notice, most don’t care.

Fair enough, there are shady laws aplenty! :)

My view is that, depending on your point of view, there can be some consequences of slavery that can be seen as “benefits” for some individuals. Slavers did quite benefit from slavery, for example.

Honestly, is this really what you’re understanding from my comment?

Huh? I mean, some of the examples given are worrisome because factually wrong or lacking obvious information (the cooking of deadly mushrooms is one). But a the same time, you can’t expect an AI to evaluate what is good or bad, but to give you what you asked of it.

Exactly! I mean, they asked for the “benefits of slavery”, got them, and are not happy with the result.

Yeah the article doesn’t make it very clear what the risk is.

So wait, let me understand. A site like Kotaku that pretends to care about women and women’s rights doesn’t see the issue with the imposition of the hijab on women within a highly patriarchal culture?

uBlock Origin blocks ads on all websites by default. If you want to avoid that

Sorry yes, I meant Love and Thunder! Ragnarok was extremely fun (and before Endgame too, so it wouldn’t apply to what I said!).

I know, that’s what opinions are for! ;)

It started as an excellent piece of entertainment, daring and experimental, but the second half was boring and mediocre, imo.
