Man. For some reason, as a South Park fan, this really brings it home for me. Even these crazy bastards who work so fast, were so confident things were going a different way. That is just… all kinds of wacky.

Poor Stephen Colbert. If I had been in his shoes, I think I would have weeped. How do you try to be funny on such a night?
I'm depressed.

Terrible idea. Mostly because this movie is already perfect and does not need a remake.

My favorite action star is still Schwarzenegger, but it's hard to deny that Die Hard is a perfect movie. Also, since you mention Bloodsport and Above the Law, is there anyone else out there who loves Van Damme but can't stand Steven Seagal? I feel weird for it, but it can't be just me.

Can't say I agree with the first sentence, but eh, to each their own!

Just read the bloody comics. I don't see this being any better than the Preacher adaptation (and if they try to force it into the structure of a movie, a heck of a lot worse).

While I'd hardly consider Bourdain a snob (his taste in food always seemed remarkably down-to-Earth, I thought), I definitely agree with him on the craft beer thing. Well, sort of. People can enjoy things however they like, but personally, I've never been a beer snob at all. I like some fancy beers, dislike others,

Dang, this is way more sad than the Jack Chick news. I mean, Dead or Alive wasn't always great, but You Spin Me Round is awesome, and Pete Burns was a kind of awesome frontman.

Look at that picture up there—the man's 82, and he's still handsomer than I. Damn.

Damn. This sucks. Preacher is one of the best comics series I've ever read.

Hamilton is incredible. Though it'll always hurt a little that three principles left a week before I got to see it, and another left the day before… ugh, anyway. It's a great musical, and I hope all the backlash is from people who at least have real reasons for disliking it, and not just because they're annoyed about

This is pure gold.

Haven't seen this yet, but jeez do I hope the sex scenes are less ridiculous than in Blue is the Warmest Color. That movie was so frustrating—it had so much respect for its subjects, until they took their clothes off and suddenly became objects. How aggravating.

It IS brilliant! I wish it got more credit. It was my favorite movie to come out that year.

Oldboy is my favorite movie—I mean, it's tied with a few others, but basically it's my favorite movie. Every time Park Chan-wook has a new movie coming out, it's cause for excitement. Which reminds me, I should watch my copy of I'm a Cyborg, But it's Okay one of these days…

It's not a fun time, but I absolutely love this movie. Michael Rooker is incredibly good in it, and the matter of fact, almost "slice of life" way the story is told makes it probably the most realistic and uncomfortable serial killer movie I've ever seen.

He just came to my town, and I gotta say, it was really cool to listen to this guy talk in person. He's one of the few personalities in the world of food that is actually insightful and intelligent, even when he's being crude and hilarious. Bourdain is the man, there's no denying it.

Maybe, Mr. Cohen, but I'm not ready for you to die.
I've never met him, and yet, I'll be absolutely devastated when his time comes. There's no one else quite like Leonard Cohen.

Man, don't even joke about Varg holding public office. Thank gods he doesn't live in the US, or that would seem like an actual possibility.
