I will always love William Shatner. I think he's a fine actor, most times, and I love Kirk, and I like that he is supposedly less egotistical these days than he was before. That said, even if I hadn't already loved Shatner, I would after hearing that Howard Stern clip. Glorious.

Aw, man. RIP.

RIP Eugene Hamilton.

I hope this rapist fuck burns.

I don't think Lovecraft would have a "Make America Great Again" sticker. Maybe "Make America Britain Again."

As someone who loved Only God Forgives, I'm very much looking forward to this.

Just too sad. Just too sad. Poor guy was my age, and had already accomplished probably more than I ever will. RIP.

Then I'm even more excited to see it next month! (Though, my terrible luck, not before the 9th. Alas.)

As a Hamilton geek, I was of course glad to see a lot of attention placed on it. The other performances were amazing, though, and I wish I could have seen every single one of those shows. My only disappointment of the night was Philippa Soo not winning. I know Hamilton already had plenty of awards, and Cynthia Erivo

You know, I really think Episode III was a great movie, better than TFA and maybe even as good as ROTJ, though not as good as Star Wars or ESB. And I think Christensen was really good in it. Which is to say, I'd really love for them to bring him back.

Great article, though I must admit—I actually think Infamous is overall a better film than Capote.

I'm kind of surprised by my state's. I don't think I know anyone who watches Survivor.

Okay see, I still haven't seen the movie, but when you put it like that it seems less contradictory to the character. I suppose I'll be able to say for sure this weekend!

Wait… suddenly Cap's cool with civilian casualties? That… seems in Stark contrast with his established idealism in earlier films. I guess I'll have to withhold judgement, but as of now I'm sort of annoyed.

I really love this movie. I know a lot of people who have said it's too of its era, too dated, but I don't think a film being "of its era" is a bad thing.

Why does everyone suddenly hate Hamilton? It's… it's a really good show…

Really, you'd have to change even less to make it about a trans guy. I always kind of heard it that way, honestly.

Even with 2001 being Fellowship, I'd have given 2003 to Return of the King. I mean, few mainstream films are as beautifully shot as that trilogy.

That's the problem—there are too many good options from every year. I will say, I think most of these choices are really good ones (though I think 1998 really should have been a shot from Saving Private Ryan).

I feel like the internet was a lot weirder ten years ago.
