Aw man. I cosplay The Illusive Man! Now I'm always going to have to associate him with Trump. Gross.

He is awesome, so I can definitely get behind this casting. Go, Toot-Toot McBumbersnazzle!

I'm so pleased with this musical's success. It deserves it. I can't wait to go to see it myself later this year!

It's definitely NOT just a novelty. That was my initial concern, as well.

Casting Admiral Shala'Raan is a good call. She's a great actor. However, nothing else about this movie makes this Trekker particularly excited.

I actually don't totally agree. I don't think her development was thrown out the window—I never got the impression that she was going to cease utterly to be spoiled. She became a better person, but she didn't change entirely.

Well, it is referred to outright as a "nickname." But honestly, I hope a real name is never revealed. He'll always be Dipper, you know?

Shit, that WOULD have been better.

I agree that bittersweet endings are the best endings, but they're tied with another kind—happy endings that feel completely earned by the characters. In my opinion, this is that. I've been waiting for this review all night, but I'm too tired to read the whole thing and then comment, so I'm really quickly just going to say that I'm so glad this got the "A" it deserved. Perfect finale to my favorite show in… ten years? Twenty years? I don't even know. Perfect. The voice acting, the story

When Frank started choking on that hotdog and seemingly dying, I really wondered if they were going to go in an ENTER THE VOID direction with it. Glad that didn't happen.

Superman doesn't need to be fixed. Superman is great.

True that.

Ugh, don't give them ideas.

A funny episode, though I too thought it suffered from the absence of three-fifths of the gang. Actually, I thought the funniest parts were little moments, like Dennis tossing the mac and cheese out of the room the second it touched the table in front of him. Honestly, one of the better episodes in a week season so

All I got out of this was "Holy shit, someone who writes for AV Club was in South Portland?"

ARTPOP is, in my opinion, Gaga's one truly bad album.

My bad.

That whole album is absolutely incredible, really. They should just play the whole thing (maybe then I'd watch!)
