Camper is 8200 (gross) and about 5500 empty. 32'. Plus FWD and boat ramps typically don’t mix.
Minivan isn’t going to tow the camper or boat is it? I’ll admit that I drive a truck (02 Silverado ext cab) that I don’t need anymore since we have the Yukon. But the Silverado is LONG paid off and mechanically sound. No sense getting into another car payment right now.
Except none of those other vehicles can tow 10k+ lbs or seat 7.
Sure, you go and fit 5 kids with 3 regular car seats and 2 infant car seats in your Civic hatch. I’ll wait.
Interior dimensions:
Rear leg room :
2008 Taurus : 41.2”
2018 Escape : 37.3"
Rear hip room:
2008 Taurus : 53.6"
2018 Escape : 52.4"
Rear shoulder room :
2008 Taurus : 57.6"
2018 Escape : 55.2"
The rear seat of the Escape is VERY tight for 2 adults. 3 kids is barely doable. The rear of the Taurus is ROOMY for 2 adults or 3…
Everyone with a 10-year old passenger car who is contemplating a replacement is.
They are comparing a new SUV to their 10 year old car they are replacing.
Side note: going from a 2008 Taurus to a 2018 Escape is a considerable DECREASE in space.
You can say fuck on this blog. For example: “It’s fucking stupid to try and cherry-pick comparisons between modern SUVs and cars a decade old, when the actual comparison is between modern cars and modern SUVs.”
A 2018 Chevy Tahoe 4WD with a 5.3l V8 gets 16-22 MPG. My 2005 Legacy GT gets...17-23MPG. That says a lot.
Wow, another hot take on how people are stupid for buying SUVs that get the same (or better) MPG than their minivan equivalents and are actually usable for people with more than just their flaky love interest to move around.
So... a parroty, of the Firebird?
Yeah right. California isn’t going to leave the union. It is just another cry for attention to remain relevant.
Kind of like Democrats under Obama right?
CA isn’t gonna secede. Get the fuck out of here.
The need....
It was the ABS, though - the update was to ABS firmware. Here’s the thing, though - we’ve had ABS for a looong time. ABS is one of those things Tesla should be buying from and getting dialed by one of the big suppliers, who’ve been doing it for a long time. It’s possible that other car makers run into that sort of…
“We’ll fix it with a firmware update” is a hell of a way to make up for rushing things out the door before they’re ready. I like my car to be tested and finished before it’s sold to the public.
It’s a Springfield XD, so no because it never did to begin with.
