Since switching, I've noticed almost every Lyft driver also has the little Uber sign or sticker on their window. So Lyft is definitely better?

I watched a lot of Nickelodeon in the early 90s. I find that for some reason, any time the people of my generation have one of those "Hey, what was the name of that show…?" conversations, they will eventually turn to Today's Special. Everyone seems to sort-of remember it fondly without knowing what it's called.

Yep. I was there in October, and found myself thinking, "Thank goodness that horrible bully man will never make it into this attraction." Little did we know.

It sounds like you're thinking of the time she was announcing the Grammy nominees, and she mispronounced Bowie's name. She said it as if it rhymed with Howie. So it's possible she knew who he was… but had never ever heard his name said out loud? Yeah, I guess it was pretty bad.

Not to mention the night Bob Uecker was the anchor!

I don't remember that one, but it's remarkable. At the time, I hated Macdonald because he was so different from Kevin Nealon, but I've really come to appreciate what he was doing.

I miss video games. I miss my mom.

Thank you for pointing this out. It's a pretty big difference… I would never try to eat astronaut ice cream with a spoon, or let Dippin' Dots sit on my kitchen counter for a few days.

What if it had had Alex P. Keaton?

It is interesting. But while it's true that if PBS ceased to exist tomorrow, Sesame Street would still go on, PBS does still air Sesame Street so anyone without HBO can still see it. Which was a major concern for a lot of people when the HBO deal was announced.

Nope. In the segment that started all the rumors, Hoots the Owl sang a song to Cookie Monster called "A Cookie Is a Sometime Food." Cookie Monster acknowledged that he was right, but then pointed out that NOW is sometime, and immediately devoured a cookie.

Journeyman was underrated. Is there a way to watch it online legally?

Just like it says at the beginning of the second paragraph!

I don't think Disney will ever give us a completely new concept under the Muppets banner. It'll just be more stuff starring Kermit and Piggy and the gang (or the baby versions of them, as in the upcoming new Muppet Babies). The Jim Henson Company has done an often-admirable job of trying new things, but the kids'
