Great review as always. But that last scene was one of the most hideous things I've seen on tv

Well that's one way to lose all the surprise in the cameos.
It is real!
Well in the UK Sky have been promoting the hell out of it, probably due to the fact that Fortitude is it's first program that Sky have put serious money into it, most of the time it's awful sitcoms. If the writers want a second season I will imagine it would happen as Fortitude is getting close to Game of Thrones…
It's being shown 9pm every thursday on sky atlantic who funded it. It's getting around 1.2 million viewers live, which is high for a british premium cable channel. Hope that helps!
I really liked the character of Chappie and I thought Dev Patel was good, but everything else was awful
I absolutely hated Die Antwood's characters. I don't know whether it was their acting or the way they written, but Chappie would have been much much better without those characters appearing on screen. What's worse was that I think Blomkamp had them as semi-heroes to the film. I half-enjoyed the film, but the plot of…
Also the fact that Gilligan isn't the show runner. He's an EP on it and wrote the pilot and created, but apart from that he has very little creative input on the show
I'm usually fine with violence, hannibal I look away from, but when she threw up. OMG i never seen anything quite like that
"No, they’ll remember disease-ridden Shirley straddling her mother Margaret, stabbing her with a fork until able to pull her abdomen open and vomit inside." That's such a bizarre but yet great sentence. Great review as usual, particularly enjoying Morton's corner.
I know the episode with the Petrov was far from subtle but it was very entertaining
For real people I'd go for Ernest Shackleton.
At least the Wachowski's make bonkers films, Blomkamp seems to just start off with an interesting concept and then ruin it by forcing in action scenes. That said District 9 was very good and I hope to be pleasantly surprised by this
I'll probably see Chappie this weekend, it's the only film I have a half interest in coming out this week.
It's one of my favourite scenes in The Thick of It when Glen and Julius just seat there drinking tea and listening to the cricket. It's probably what I would do if I there

the whole space jockey thing I'm hoping is something that gets explored in Prometheus 2. I liked some of the ideas in Prometheus and I'd hope they would explore them further
Skyfall has issues with it, but ever time I watch it I really really enjoy it. Brilliantly shot, acted, and kept you entertained. I'd say it's one of the best blockbuster films of the last 10 years
I'm going zombies mammoths
The scenes with Darren Boyd where simply brilliant. Even thought there is a lot of other great things that's the most interesting for me
