No time wasted here. I’m sitting at work watching software install.

I know, but I also know that if walker at any point thought that it wasn’t a good idea to be going 100mph on public roads a simple request to slow down would probably be heeded.

People don’t need to, or often want to hear, my opinion. But I offer it and people read it and respond to it. You don’t have to read, and certainly don’t have to respond, to what I write.

I get all your arguments on how F&F brings people into the car community, I don’t disagree. They helped bring me into the car community. What I do say though is this, they bring in people who end up being “that guy”. People who put exclusively ebay kits or cosmetic items on their car, or for a major mod they change

To be fair, he died drifting at 100+mph on public roads on his way to a charity event, not at one. Anyone else who did that would be talked about on here as a shitbag.

I knew he sometimes tracked his car, I had not heard of his other automotive endeavours. My opinion is still that Paul Walker is not a pillar of the car community for his work in F&F. I would get people talking about a loss to the car community because of those things. Of the people I’ve talked to though, they only

1: I don’t enjoy parties. I don’t like large groups of people. I do like car meets and am appreciated when I am in attendance.

Harrison ford dying would mean absolutely nothing to the space industry. It would be a loss to the acting industry and the science fiction world.

I’d once again like to point out that Paul Walker was not really a huge loss to the automotive community. The fast and furious franchise are actually terrible car movies and only pander to casual car people who like action movies. From 15 speed gearboxes to 40 mile runways to bridge-lumping Vin Diesels, they’re movies

Still waiting for one of these guys do die from meth use.

These are the photos I have right now. I did not perform the swap, but with the quality of the work done to it I’m okay not taking credit for it. It popped up on craigslist in my area and after talking to the seller over email we discovered we had met each other through a local racing event. Anyways, he gives me $500

You’re beautiful too *wipes your tear*

Since 2004 they’ve been Sebatian. 2004. Not only just sebastian, but in the past 12 years there have been only two unique WRC winners. That’s nuts!

Pretty sure it’s a bit of both. VW does run two cars, and they end up 1-2 a lot. You could either say that’s because of how good of drivers they signed, or how much better their cars perform. I faintly remember hearing something about VW doing something clever to make their cars wicked quick, but it’s nothing like the

Oh man, high school. When I was in high school I could’nt have cared less about cars. I knew they were valuable as forms of transportation, to make moving around easier, but no more. I didn’t get why people would want fast cars when any Prius could go way over any speed limit in the country.

Where in that does it say I’m in sales?

1: Anonymous? My name is Oliver Madsen, I live in Fairbanks Alaska. Anything I say on the internet I would say to someone’s face.

It’s really easy to defeat an argument if you believe that people younger than you are all idiots. Ad hominem FTW

The one at #10 is not the Veyron, the Veyron (super sport) is at #7. That car was produced from 2010-2011, the same time that the MP4-12C was produced, which beat it around that track and was never marketed as pompously as the Veyron was.

Is doing something now a qualification for judging someone else’s performance. I guess I’ll stop judging F1 drivers, pro football players, car manufacturers, and movie makers because I’ve never done those things.
