That speech that Chuck gave at the beginning might have been worse than the Pearl Harbor speech earlier in the season. This show has dumb speeches the way Sons of Anarchy had dumb montages. Thankfully not as many though.

This show is entertaining but it seems like there's a dumb scene quota that needs to be filled in each episode. The big speech about Pearl Harbor was absolutely ridiculous and makes it tough to take Billions seriously.

I have to say that I'm really enjoying Homeland this season but a Quinn-Carrie love story is really going to annoy me. But I guess I can tolerate it if we don't have to see her sister or baby again.
