First off, 10 grams of vitamin C per day is not that much. And your cited study is very dated (1979). There are a ton of recent research articles that you could’ve looked at (from the search link I provided).

Most likely not. The Year 2 stuff seems more like quality of life upgrades and bonuses for completing community assignments. Survival, alone, is worth the ~$15 though, in my opinion.
