I think someone in the comments section of "Les Revenants"
even suggested that Daniel could make a guest appearance as one of the returned.

I thought the same thing when I heard the song. Definitely not a coincidence. Loved the music in this episode.

Yep. I think any woman knows how that feels, too. :)

I thought this episode was brilliant. The acting was pretty close to perfection - especially in the Ted Jr./Tawney scenes. To me, it didn’t feel (too) soapy. I mean, the situation
between Tawney and Ted Jr. had to escalate at some point and, come on, family
issues tend to be melodramatic – even in real life. With this

Daniel thinks of himself as the great destroyer. "He feels like he has destroyed whatever cohesiveness the family had before he got out". (McKinnon's words)

Absolutely.
The only thing that really worries me is that it ends in almost two weeks. I mean, what am I going to do after that?

Having high expectations due to the high quality of this show is something I can totally relate to, though. It has grown so dear to me that I'm constantly afraid it could disappoint me one day.
But then again I'm pretty sure this is not going to happen.

Well, it wasn’t what I expected but this is not my idea of "truly horrible“.

As foreshadowed in last week's episode, the senator informed Ted Sr. about the "coffee-incident" between Daniel and Ted Jr. If you listen carefully you can even hear him say something like "…and then he choked him…".

Unfortunately TV-shows concentrating mainly on grown-up characters often have difficulties with finding compelling story lines for their teenage supporting characters.
But I actually liked Jared and his evolving relationship to Daniel in the first season and I really hope they’ll give him a good story line
in season 3

Yeah, right? To me this show has been A territory all the way through. Even in its "weaker" episodes.

Love that you recalled that scene between Daniel and Jon. I remember thinking "Oh, that explains a lot…" while watching it.

It felt like typical TV-writing because it saves the show from dealing with the consequences? Yes, definitely.

I don’t know. Maybe we shouldn’t jump to any conclusions yet?

"because almost no other show has had me rambling like this ever before"

Haven't heard any news yet but I really hope it gets another season. Because I don't want this show to end. Ever.

Also, is Flashback Bill supposed to look younger than regular Yellow-faced Bill? Because he looks like a depressed 40-year-old. With a wig.

Ok, this was 100% awful.

I know you'd say that and - of course - you're absolutely right, they'd never give away what really happened that night.
Still, it made me realize that we can't be absolutely sure about anything at this point.
