Add to that list "Alexander Skarsgård, occasionally nude."

True Blood had premium cable sex and gore, though. This is on NBC.

Yeah, racism might not be their primary motivator, but they're not, like, against it.

On-demand 30 Rock.
OITNB (I'm guessing you are calling that an overrated soap opera, but I like it a lot as do many other people).
UKS.
Other decent shows (GLOW, Stranger Things, etc.).
Access to Canadian/British/Australian/etc. TV shows I probably never would have heard of otherwise.
On-demand 30 Rock.

I remain extremely attracted to the *idea* of living in New York (fed, admittedly, by unrealistic to the point of larceny depictions like this one). But the practicality of it is just insane. If you're wealthy or ascetic, maybe. But as I am neither, I've moved on.

Switched at Birth had a lot of deaf characters, and the main deaf character was played by an actress who is hearing impaired (but speaks without a deaf accent in real life). For the show, she uses a deaf accent. I recall them getting some flack for that, because she wasn't deaf enough - despite the fact that the show

Yeah, that storyline was a missed opportunity for more hijinx down the road.

RIP Haven! Nuke 4eva.

Super jobbed!

It's almost hard to believe you could take what Dowd is describing and get that trailer out of it. But lots of trailers suck; I'm much more willing to believe that this director and this cast made a really good movie with a bad trailer than that the trailer was the best possible showpiece for the movie.

I'm with you on GMOs, but there are bad places one can take the technology. If this movie is thoughtful and precise in its critique, I think it could be quite interesting.

I am all for Gyllenhaal embracing the wild-eyed Nic Cage phase of his career. Nightcrawler was fantastic.

I don't understand what the point was of showing us that Selina had basically no interest in Catherine from day 1. It's mildly surprising, I suppose, since most new mothers who aren't experiencing post-partum depression love their babies. But it also kind of flattens their relationship and indicates that Selina hasn't

He doesn't even have a pen!

I wonder if they'll really address Amy's feelings about this or if it will mostly be used for comedy. Granted, I love Amy/Dan as a comedic pairing and their super-twisted Sam and Diane thing brings me joy. But I want to know why on earth she is having the baby! If ever there was a character who I think would have an

Ok, ok, but I still think they are reversed in this particular case based on context.

Those characters had awesome deaths, though. I think some of the criticism SPN gets around this is deserved, but I also think it's overstated in general.

Those all sound like dudes.

I love the idea of the CW having a show with a middle-aged women as the lead (and not a middle-aged woman playing 19). That makes me so happy.

I really liked this season! For what that's worth. So keep on trucking.
