Yeah, I really hope the Iris plotline goes somewhere, because the whole thing just makes the Elder West seem kinda stupid.

They can't bring in Aquaman anyway, he's going to be in Dawn of Just Ice so Zack Snyder can make him "really cool."

The dialogue in this episode was some real Geoff Johns dialogue. Didn't much enjoy that, but the actors were good enough to carry it through.

The worst part about the writing is that you can see the mood they were going for. It's like the most rote, trite interpretation of a David Mamet or Michael Mann movie. It wants so hard to be Ronin or Spartan or Heat, but without the finesse or technique, it just comes off as the vaguest sort of imitation.

The whole "Ollie has a secret love child" reveal felt so COMPLETELY out of left field that it kind of set me on my heels, and then the rest of the episode just didn't let up.
