I may be biased here but it really is incredible. You should definitely go if you ever get the chance. I can relate to the whole distance thing—I moved to China a few months ago. :-)

Fun to see my native language, Faroese, mentioned in the guide but it is unfortunately not quite right. Though Faroese and Icelandic are very similar especially in writing, we don’t have the letter Þ, þ (thodn) and our way of using Ð, ð (edd) differs quite a lot from the Icelandic way.
