It’s the same mentality that believes a team that does a great job and achieves great success is bad for the sport. It’s just strange thinking over all. It’s like saying that boxing was boring because Muhammad Ali was so successful.

....within which you are free to design.  It's the opposite of a "spec" series

It seems like an odd combination of words, putting “do no wrong” “still succeed” implies that people usually succeed by doing wrong which doesn’t make sense.

Mercedes, the team that can do no wrong and still succeed

It’s all a fun thought. Currently, one of the best and worst parts of Formula One is that teams have a lot of freedom in car design.

It’s worth noting that gasoline vehicles catch fire quite regularly, so there’s probably no need to freak out over electric cars

It’s not the number of chargers, it’s being able to charge while not at home in an amount of time that makes it convenient. 30 minutes is still far too long when it takes me <5 to fill up my gasoline cars.

And some people think Socialism/Communism are viable options for a Government......

“Side note: Yes, people are constantly messing with the brakes of these scooters. I regularly find cut cables, and on a few occasions, have started riding only to find out while in motion that the cables have been cut or removed entirely.”

I’m no fan of these scooter services nor many of the operators who are

Also, are these things retreaded or the compression wall/tread combo comes off the

Like the VW Beetle...

“NASCAR Technology” is an oxymoron :-)

Do you have any info on why they had to go to spec radiators this year? Were some manufacturers running even higher temps then this article states?

What modern cars only run at 200F? My GTI runs 220F, and my Fiata 215F (with the dumbest water temp gauge design known to man). My BMW with it’s electronic thermostat and electric water pump will range from 210-24oF, depending on what it’s doing.

Why don’t they use an ethylene glycol mix like a street car?

They are just mad that Uber “contractors” cannot be part of a Union. This is way more about Unions than anything else in the eyes of Jalopnik/Gawker.

Exactly. Gawker has this raging-hate boner for Uber that now reeks of desperation and erodes their credibility. “10 Easy Tricks to Destroy Uber.”
