When I attended a Bernie rally here in Madison Wi, there were definitely local TSA agents as well as secret service members (I recognized one from our local airport). I didn’t take pictures, but I can definitely testify that they were there.

They’re at a lot of events. The Secret Service Uniform Division handles most of the magnetometers at events imvolving protectees, but during campaigns their resources are spread thin and they have to draw from whatever local resources are available. And they’re both under Homeland Security
