When Hi-Fi Rush shadow-dropped on January 25, it was a shockingly pleasant surprise. Beautiful, vibrant, playful, the rhythm action platformer quickly won players over.

They should offer longer warning periods for 100+ hour games like P5R

I would have preferred “They were all dismantled to prevent them from ever being used against them again.”  This ‘explanation’ is lazy and doesn’t work even in the game its in.

This is a world where the main character is a failed Super Solider who worked for Evil Inc. to impress a girl before being recruited by Eco-Terrorists willing to kill any ordinary human who stood in their way. Even too pure for this wretched world Aerith was willing to smack a bitch.

Not sure how Red XIII on a chocobo didn’t make the list, but it might be the single most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.

I think a lot of people can’t discern a protagonist from a hero. Like, whoever is the main character, they’ll read the work as endorsing them, their views and actions.

I ma excited about season two to be honest, my wife said she would watch it with me when it comes out.

I don’t know if I regret editing mine so much - I would love to save configurations of ships - but I do like my version.

Cadence of Hyrule lets you play as Zelda. It’s a music based dungeon crawler that’s really fun and I couldn’t put the game down when it released.

Surprising, and kind of a bummer.

I felt like such a monster after this mission. The way this poor kid’s enthusiasm turns to existential dread just wrecked me.
