So funny how I sort of dodged this bullet by accident. I decided to stick to Gongaga’s main story because it was pretty interesting. And when that was over, I ended up heading straight to Cosmo Canyon just because I wanted to meet Cyd.

It’s a bummer to hear the map isn’t that fun. The first time I jumped from a

Oh, man. Some kind of short range flak cannon would be gorgeous to see in action (even if it’ll be kind of a one-trick pony). This game’s visuals really surprise me sometimes.

Good to know, thanks!

(Not reading the article because I’m still playing the game. But I will spoil a bit of Chapter 6.)

I hope the image isn’t a spoiler, because it sure looks like one. In Costa Del Sole, Aerith shows concern that her materia, once white, has no color. Now I see in the thumbnail of her holding a dark-colored materia, and

After a big bout of motion sickness at the start (and some smaller ones here and there as I kept playing), I absolutely fell in love with this series. I hope the rumors are true, but I do echo some of the commenters wishing part 1 was also offered.

Or the always online requirement that’s probably clogging up servers. Would be cool to be able to instantly host a game to play with 3 friends.

Thanks for the autocannon tip. Haven’t tried it myself, but a co-op buddy was wondering what the point was for the ammo pack.

And Whose Line is it Anyway has been doing hand accessories around the same time, too!

Good point. It almost makes the game feel like a carbon copy.

This article just made me wonder if Hi-Fi Rush will just revert to the non-licensed-music version of the game eventually. I hope they got a permanent license for those songs (or continue to renew their license, if permanent licenses aren’t a thing). Not to diss on the original versions, but the NiN track for the

My biggest dislike: The fact that the DLC is free and only 4-ish hours long means that someone can post a Youtube video with a very clear headline and screenshot spoiling the finale before I can play the game (ugly cries). I should watch my game trailers in incognito mode.

Oo, good point!

The first sequel that really blew me away was Monkey Island 2.
The Secret of Monkey Island was great, but this one was something else. Beautiful art, dynamic music cues, hilarious cartoony situations. And as nuts as that ending was, I totally loved it.

Did Netflix’s Blood Dragon miss the nomination period? I’m assuming it didn’t, since it came out before Alan Wake 2. I think that should have been in the list of Best Adaptation nominees instead of some of the entries that made it.

To think they had the best pre-death moment with that chill bro hug and their backs turned to the camera.

I binged Monster like crazy a month or two ago. Now I’m obsessed with consuming as much of Urasawa’s work as possible.

Looks like AC Mirage is going to be getting an unexpected boost in its marketing budget.

Someone should make a similar joke for the tiresome “we hear you”/”we have heard you” statements

In a close look at Helldivers II gameplay... With four players taking on some beastly lookin’ aliens, this looks like a pretty good excuse to round up some friends to devastate some alien wildlife.

I was hoping they’d let Zelda be a companion, if not playable. Though given that the BotW DLC was embedded in the base game instead of an epilogue, I already had my doubts.
