I was expecting more of a callout, that just looks like the default “long fall” loop that the character would play for any distance drop. She didn’t go for the T-pose dive, no eagle red hawk screech, just... wwaaaaaahhhh, fall, splash. Not much different than tossing your avatar off a building in GTA.

Lots of personality in these. Especially love the flamingo hex-a-gone drawing. That would play well if they ever did something like a Splatfest and go for a nighttime party vibe.

Why do so many of the comics look so low res today? 

Rambo II & Robocop 2 ruin their predecessors legacy. One could even say First Blood should’ve ended like the book and the Rambo movies & cartoons are just none canon Jacob’s Ladder scenarios.

To be fair, most of the franchises that have shown up have basically already turned themselves into jokes long before showing up in MK.

As an older gamer, it is a little sad that you couldn’t spare a sentence to the fact that the Origin trademark in gaming predates this digital storefront. EA purchased Origin Systems, developers of Ultima in 1992. They went on to create one of the early MMORPGs in Ultima Online that pioneered a lot of the online…

I came in here to comment “I got ants in my pants and I need to dance!” figuring that’d be the absurd alternative to whatever sample was used. I guess I’m just happy it wasn’t a slowed-down, minimalist cover version performed in a minor key. That seems to be popular these days.
