Just reading that made me a little nauseous XD

I guess based on their recent history, the only way Portal 3 would be feasible is if it were a system seller for some new Valve hardware?

Dammit. I ALWAYS spell his name wrong.

Hopefully it will do well critically and financially, so Disney will be even more open to license out other Lucasarts IPs. Ideally to developers that will do them justice, of course :).

Hoping Steve Purcell will make some marketing art for this at the very least, like he did for Tales. A Sam and Max cameo would be cool, too :D. Some kind of contribution from Mark Ferrari and Tim Schaefer would make this the perfect reunion for me.

Makes sense. I guess it’s a matter of how much detail one is able to absorb/tolerate.

Sorry for the omission! Yup, this is the PS5 version. Hope you get to enjoy the game soon :)

I found myself very visually overwhelmed by this game at the start. It just felt like every little detail was trying to grab my attention, so I couldn’t make out the whole picture.

If anyone else feels this way, what I did to relieve the issue was to switch to performance mode, which at least made the animations more

Hey, that was a fun fact, indeed! Thanks for sharing.

It made more sense to me back when I was a kid who never experienced tabletop gaming, thinking it was spelled “Roll Playing Games” because of all the dice rolls you had to do everytime you did an action. When I was corrected, I was like “Role? What role??”

Wasn’t expecting to see these games on the list, but was still sad hahaha. Basically PC oldies that will age me:

Questprobe Featuring Spider-Man:

Sad not to see Odd Taxi much in the comments because this series blew me away. Think Hello Kitty on Prozac. It’s on top of this (randomly arranged list probably) for a reason.

I mean... G.R.R. Martin IS involved with the game, so...

This came to mind for me (although I’m sure they used more CG here). I wonder if it’s the same team/director.

GOG is your (problematic) friend! https://www.gog.com/game/dungeons_dragons_krynn_series

Hibiki! I wish that Last Blade got more love than it currently does, but seeing Hibiki appear in other fighting games always calls for a celebration in my heart.

My personal pick is Bullets Per Minute. While Doom undoubtedly raised the bar when it comes to heavy metal soundtracks on a videogame, the music used in BPM was proper metal and served the game mechanics well by providing beats that are easy to follow and fun to listen to after multiple, multiple playthroughs.

Not to mention the deceptively harmless pool at the bottom. “Jump in! The slime is fine!”

Hey, if it can scare off more investors from giving the execs a raise, I’m with you!

I’m just happy the ghost of Origin Systems can finally rest in peace (I hope)
