I think since California is hell-bent on EVs they should offer up the land for all the mines.

I’m a big, fat guy and love my Sienna! It’s no M3 but if you get the all-wheel drive and press hard on the pedal it does move out pretty good, much better than my 4Runner or Tacoma ever did. The gas mileage makes me smile every time I fuel up. I’ve gotten up to 37mpg of freeway driving and the worst I’ve seen is 25mpg…
Hey, Claire! I’m also in the Portland area. I don’t drink so sitting at the bar is a no-go because of stink-eye from the bartender. I enjoy dining alone. I don’t fit in booths(too fat) so I usually end up at a two-top which is fine. The bigger problem is those places which always try to seat me right next to the…
Didn’t the Granada and siblings have a carb problem? As in it failed on a regular basis and could not be rebuilt and had to be completely replaced?
My first 4Runner was a 2010 and to this date is the vehicle I have owned the longest, 8 years. Then I thought I needed something sportier so I traded it for a Camry XSE with the 6 banger. It was “sportier” than the 4Runner but I couldn’t get some of my fishing rods in it! So I traded it for a Tacoma TRD Off Road.…
Tried this last night. Can confirm it’s great tasting.
Air cooled. Not so cool on the ground.
The P1800 cost my father more than money. He ended up in a wheelchair for life. He was stopped for a school bus when the driver of a Galaxie of the same vintage rear-ended him at 40MPH. The seat broke loose and his head went flying into the rear window with his neck coming down on the bar across the rear seat. Neck…
Someone took it to put in their front yard. Realized all the publicity it was getting would make it impossible to display. They decided it was too big to just keep in their garage.
Could this be the 4Runner replacement? Won’t tow, won’t off-road much. This is a fisherman’s dream vehicle. Long single-piece fishing rods are a pain to haul and this is the perfect solution. Also lots of cargo space for coolers and camping gear. Put some oversize tires on it and it’s a beach cruiser. I want it, but…
Isn’t driving in Nascar slightly more dangerous?
I just ate the last of my “sandwich slicers” (cut lengthwise) pickles I made. Now I need to make a jar of these!
Same thing happened in Portland, Oregon. I-5 cut a swath through the African American community. You know it was because the land was cheaper and it led directly to the only bridge across the Columbia River in Portland.
Where is the HUD? The 737-800 has a HUD available. This must be the Spirit Airlines version.
It was always my impression the loud noise level was to keep the tables turning over. They don’t want customers hanging around or dawdling over their food.
My first trip to Chik-fil-a I didn’t know better and ordered a sandwich, omitting all condiments. I didn’t know you needed customize the sandwich. That was wasted money. Also the pizza in Germany with some kind of vinegar sauce.
Why is the photo of Portland City Hall? The capital of Oregon is Salem and there is even a Capitol Building located there.
I’m over 65 and have only sent back one order. My Eggs Benedict poached eggs had solid yolks. They were so overcooked you could probably have made deviled eggs from them.
I use this exact recipe with chicken fried steak and hash browns. My favorite breakfast. Only thing I add is lots of pepper.
All this is solved with Vote by Mail! We’ve had it here in Oregon for years and years. That should be the next movement in states without VBM. It solves the polling place problems and removes the threat of voting machine hacking because there are no voting machines to hack!
