Besides Lego TRU-exclusives and the fact that they carried more brands of diecast cars than other box store, TRU was extremely uncompetitive around here, for me anyway. In Lego collector circles, their higher prices were colloquially known as the TRU Tax.
The design is far too different from every existing Defender to simply be Lego's interpretation of a Defender. Safe money is on this being 90% the same as the 2020.

It’s worth watching all three. You never know who will put on the best show in a given weekend. I also follow the Whelen Modified Tour, which race at actual short ovals, and even with that sometimes the racing is incredible and sometimes it’s boring. Wall Stadium was insane, Seekonk was a snoozefest.
They have a condiment race at our local minor league games. Definitely gimicky.
