And I bring a meme I made
I stopped at Walmart on my lunch break today and I finally found the AW SVO Mustang, plus I grabbed the new HW F-Type Project 7. I really hope Auto World sticks around, I love what they’re coming out with and the scale is perfect.
I’m sure some of you have cars on your work desks, well this is essentially my desk.
I’m sure some of you already know me from Oppo, but I’m new to LaLD, so I figured I’d introduce myself. I’m Brian, I’m 24 and work as a lube tech at a small, Long Island Dodge/Ram dealer. My die cast addiction started when I was young, like most of you I’d imagine, and my preference has always been HW and MBX. I have…
It is an avation holiday or something, or did the front page become Flight Club? I mean, that is a blog that exists, and this one is about cars, so I’m not sure why every other post today has to be about planes, or zombies on planes, or Hurricane Katrina...
Yeah, irony. I got hit on Wednesday, my car has no spare, and I have State Farm. The 92 year old woman who hit me was completely at fault so I need to go through her insurance company to get everything fixed but I can't do that until I have a police report which will take a week apparently.
I saw this guy out on the road again yesterday(this pic is older though), and threw him a thumbs up. Does anyone know who it is?? I've spotted him several times but no one ever seems to know who it is.
For about 6 miles this morning, I was behind an unmolested RSX-S who was behind an E92(debadged and tinted, I assume 335i) and we were all stuck behind a Grand Caravan doing 45 in a 50. I was running late and I guess they were both as frustrated as I was, because the second the lane split into two and we could pass…
So I'm at Taco Bell earlier tonight, and when my turn comes at the speaker, the oblivious gentleman in the Subaru Legacy ahead of me left a half a car leght in front of him, leaving me half a car length back from the speaker. As I shouted my order at the poor girl inside and stared disgustedly at the nimrod in front…
Taking advantage of a sale at Dick's, yestersay I bought a Savage Arms Mark II GXP .22LR, my first gun.
I'm on a roll with my Caddy predictions. I told you guys that the CT6 being called a 6 was a good thing. Say what you will about the names, but it makes sense to me and I figured out their plans pretty easily.
And took shitty pictures of it on my nightstand with a potato.
I really should just go to sleep already.
fuck the haters. This summer has made me a believer. We hit Stafford today and we're probably doing Mahoney Valley next week and Thompson 2 weeks after that. Now we want a camper so we can go every damn weekend. I never thought I'd be into NASCAR.
And their new naming scheme meaning more room above the CT6 for even higher-end vehicles. And someone called me stupid for suggesting it. Dick.
Debating on whether to make it essentially just a facade or go 32 studs deep and make it a real modular. As it stands I have the bricks for the first set of technic pins, so I can connect it to my modular street. Going half the size at 16 deep saves me bricks and time, as it is already double wide. My Lego guys will…
for never questioning one's automotive experience in a judgmental way and making someone feel like less of an enthusiast or that their opinion is less valid than your own simpley because they don't have as much experience as you may. That is all. Good night. I love you guys and gals.
This story from the FP got me thinking, we should do Lego challenges. I can't be the only one here with a passion for building Lego vehicles. This father already proved the 3-Wheeler is possible to recreate in plastic brick form, but let's see what we can come up with for a Lego Morgan.
It's just so damn pretty. As is the CTS. And the ATS. I want all the Caddy's.
