Maybe he would, but I honestly don't think my blood pressure could handle it.

That is the most insipid, angsty bullshit I've seen since I last opened the LiveJournal I had as a teenager.

I thought this was my favourite episode of the season so far, but holy Jeebus did Doctor Who test my patience with that "you don't think I'm speshul" talk. Thankfully it was dropped a few minutes into the episode.

Well that's just, like, your opinion man.

I… Goddamn it.

I liked Broadchurch. It got really heavy handed and pretentious at points, but so far it seems like Gracepoint is a much more refined version of the same story. It's weird to me that they've basically downplayed or outright excised the elements of Broadchurch that I had complaints with in this version.

Strong closing to the second season as a whole, although it seemed a lot more subdued than most season finales tend to go.

The problem isn't Rob Schneider's opinion as far as I'm concerned, but rather that the response to his opinion is to try and get the dude fired from his job. It's telling to me that rather than engage and explain why he's got his head up his ass on this issue, people would rather shell someone's livelihood.

I agree with you for the most part, but I'd argue that the show isn't justifying anything. I made a comment last week to the same effect; the show is presenting the situation as is, and does not try to hide or dress up abhorrent behaviour. I appreciate that, as it allows the viewers to make up their minds on what's

I don't think the actress who plays Flo is unattractive. The big turn off for me is that Flo is an absolutely horrible human being with zero redeeming qualities (so far). She's spiteful, vindictive, and has a chip on her shoulder big enough for a linebacker.

Well… shit. That was good. Really good. There's nothing in the episode that particularly stuck out to me in terms of performance or plot but it was a lot of really good scenes stitched together to make a really good episode. Not every week can be a home run, but this was a solid double at the very least.

I see what you're saying, but for me I've had that speech he gave during the bottle episode in the back of my head during that scene. The one about how not putting your hands up (or in this case, defending yourself) is a great sign of disrespect. I was watching Bill's movements to see it and, sure enough, Bill never

I've got an addict for a stepfather, and he's been clean for seven years. He is by all accounts a really good guy now. The way he explained it to me was how you described; it's about making amends for the shit you've done in order to try and repair the relationships you have damaged. I think the fact that these

I wouldn't say he's shallow just because Flo isn't his type. Men and women are allowed to have aesthetic preferences and Flo isn't owed sex just because she's lonely.

Wow. I was really impressed with Sheen's performance during the boxing match (they're still throwing hard on that metaphor huh?) at the end. The way his face contorted and even relished getting under his deluded brother's skin. It was like he was in his element. I think the major difference between Bill and Francis

At this point I'm pretty sure Kurt Sutter is an idiot savant. He makes good stuff without really knowing why it's good. Like a guy who tells a joke and thinks the audience is laughing at the set up and not the punchline.

I think I've figured out why I like Sons of Anarchy.

Eh, I can see how it could work for someone. You'd be surprised at how many people aren't that analytical about, well, anything. People miss details you might find obvious, and people might think shit is restrained when it's deafening to you.

I hadn't realized how much I missed Lester this season until this episode. Goddamn was he on fire tonight.

I thought the "ruins of a dead civilization" line was particularly cringe worthy myself. It sounds like something I would have written when I was fifteen and on a journey of self discovery through the goth subculture (like how I was a douchebag). I can't quite recall, but I'm pretty sure I made a jerk-off motion when
