One day last year, Donald Trump won the election. Later that day I got to ride shotgun for a U-2 landing in the Southwest Asia. I’m not saying it made up for it, but it was pretty awesome.

I beg to challenge that idea. When we did it there were whole days when you wouldn’t even see a house or a town.

As someone who has completed said rally, I love the idea of doing it in an electric car – but having it professionally spec’d with all kinds of actual rally gear is kind of not the point of this event.
