Put up some shiplap, get some fake rustic shit, and put up some “quirky” decorations.

I swear, every other home I’ve been in has a wrought-iron sign that says “Live, Laugh, Love.”

Plus, she always renovates the home in a way that is true to the house’s style. No shiplap or ugly-ass clocks in her houses.

When restoring a house, it is SO important to be true to the style of the home. The downside of the boom in these home renovation shows is that people with terrible taste and worse skill think that they should be renovaitng their homes in styles that don’t match the integrity of the house.

I think their taste is so tacky. It looks like Pinterest and a budget version of Pottery Barn exploded all over their houses.
