We had 10,000 here in Ithaca, NY. total population = 30,000 +students, many of whom aren’t back from break yet.

I’m at the two week point too. I’m doing ok at it, but I just had my physical a few days ago and my blood sugar was a bit high (other bloodwork was ok) I’m supposed to work on my weight for three months and then see my Dr. again. So now I’m really motivated. I have super awesome, prevention-oriented insurance (hence…
Day 2 and lighter than normal for my perimenopausal, period every three weeks, paraguard-having self. I was going to get the IUD out to help with the heavy flow, but now that Trump’s elected I’m going to keep it in until I hit menopause.
I hope your vitamin D levels stay where they should be. Mine have finally gotten up to the point that my Dr wants me to back off on the dosage. She suggested a month with no supplements since it takes a while to clear the system, and then start back with a lower dose. Hopefully this will give you some wiggle room?
Maybe they don’t like leftovers, or don’t like it if every item in the meal doesn’t “match”? I have the opposite problem - when I was single I could make a batch of something and then not cook for a day or two. Now that I’m married to someone who eats more than I do, the leftovers don’t last very long. We both like to…
I still remember the first time I heard it. My friend was playing it in the lab across the hall form me. It was the soundtrack to my grad school days
Me too.
This. I was thinking about my list and I only bought 3 albums in high school because the other stuff I liked was too hard to find locally.
Ithaca!
I get really ragey about stuff like this because it reveals how pervasive and systemic the wage gap is. Same job, a fairly objective criteria for comparing performance, and agents do the negotiations for you. You’d think that whole point of having agents negotiate your salary would minimize some of the wage difference
I think I’d go with saran wrap for the fridge since it’s the cheapest and the cling might make life easier.. Parchment paper is a kind of dense, food grade paper that is stable to high temperatures. It’s not very porous, so wet stuff won’t leak through. There’s no wax on it, so it’s good for lining cookie and cake…
I once talked to a nutritionist whose husband had a high end kitchen store. She said that a lot of the people doing fancy remodels hardly ever cooked at all.
I made roast vegetables and chicken in parchment paper tonight. I use parchemnt paper all the time for cookies and cakes but have never cooked meat in there. It came out really nice and moist.
OMG, I ate so many of those in grad school! I’ll have to se eif my Target sells them
How is it that some OB GYNs don’t know about the migraine connection? I used to get an optical migraine once every few years (no headache). I thought it was just an eye thing, but I finally had it checked out. My very next visit, my OBGYN saw it on my chart and recommended I stay off the pill. Meanwhile, my BFF was…
I agree. I got switched from one type of BC pill to another when my insurer changed their formulary. I got really moody, my boobs were sore all the time, and my hair lost all its curl. I went off it since I didn’t need it at the time. Later, I was on one that worked for me, but I started having lots of side effects…
I went off the pill after my long time boyfriend broke up with me, then got a copper IUD a few months later. I was sensitive emotionally (an impending work layoff/job hunting didn’t help) but didn’t notice additional mood swings with the IUD. The first few months I was crampy, though
The 3 B’s = baths, binge watching, and baking.
This. I’m in NY but am in a red district. I am looking forward to being a rabblerouser to my local congressperson
