we got married at City Hall and did a BBQ at our house 2 days later. Groomzilla was seriously freaked out that we wouldn’t have enough food and booze. even after 3 months of eating lots of hot dogs we still have hamburgers/cheese/buns in the freezer and a ridiculous amount of beer.

Heck, weddings are super stressful because weddings. I had one of the world’s easiest ones and I was still a ball of nerves because I’m an anxious introvert and husband was groomzilla worrying about not having enough food/booze/jordan almonds for everyone.

Some people are just quick to fall in love, I think. I’m on the slow and cautious sidee myself, so it weirds me out.

My mother is an educated, middle class 78 year old woman living in Silicon Valley. She usually votes Democrat but voted for Trump because “she just doesn’t like Hillary” When I heard that, I realized just how effective all of the attack ads, wikileaks, etc etc had been.
