Would it really kill them to offer a manual? Apparently they think there is a business reason not to install three pedals. They’ve totally handed the “enthusiast”tag to BMW for decades because of this. BMW is aware that they only sell 18 manual cars a year, but they “get” why they should continue.

Next question for her:

I doubt anyone confused the Scorpio and Sable. A LOT of boring FWD cars were less expensive than the Scorpio.

Buy a fucking Corvette if you want a fucking Corvette. We’ve always had the Corvette and always will. To murder the quote: If you can’t go fast with [205!] hp, you shouldn’t be driving fast at all. I’m really surprised the Toyobaru has made it this many years without y’all killing it off.

If you plan to pack this in cosmolene for the day when it is a rare collectible ... it might be worth $7k.

These look better now than they did then. There were a lot of “style-heavy” cars on the road in the early 70s. This was before trucks became cars. Oh, forget it.

“Best toy for your chew-happy dog”

I came here to see the comment where somebody pointed out what you could do to an NA Miata with a $53k budget. So disappointed.

Update: Musk offers the kids free cars if they go back in the cave and let him save them.

I count 20 uses of the word “but” in this article. Anything more than 10 is a signal that the car in question is a future candidate for “meh.”

per se

NP for any car where the owner tosses the slushie in favor of the DIY-three-pedal-shifter arrangement. Hell no I wouldn’t buy it, though, because it’s a modern, used BMW and thus a certified money hole.

These Aston Martins are beautiful. They should configure them with people willing to drive them to a little more than 50% of their capability. I had a great view of one from all angles last year at Gingerman, after I passed it a couple times in my unmodified (as if that matters) Scion TC.

Man, Will Ferrel looks like he needs to get some sleep.

Good thing that isn’t an SCCA race. That guy would have been black flagged for driving with his elbow on the windowsill.

And this, kids, is why manufacturing companies keep occupying old locations. Because they would not be able to afford the environmental remediation needed to sell the property.

Given the photos and the description, it’s an obvious NP and that’s how I voted. But, a 130k mile, clean, running, 7-year old car priced at $3900 from a dealer? I’m going in there with a big pile of suspicion.

It’s gorgeous! Also - at speed I think that little windscreen would deflect the air upward quite a bit. Maybe enough to avoid the bug in the teeth. Any aerodynamicists out there?

9%? Maybe round up to 10, so we can use the word “decimated” correctly, for a change.

If Tesla’s model were unique to the auto industry, everybody would be doing it.
