I’ve noted several times where Trump, in prepared speeches, used the phrase “America First” in ways that didn’t really make sense at face value, but worked if you treated them as references to the past racist, isolationist movement.

Trump, in real life, is now claiming that the British spied on him for Obama. He’s not only holding onto his delusion, he’s bringing US allies into it and alienating them. I’m guessing either she saw something about imaging with microwaves and assumed “microwaves” meant ovens, not waves, or she saw something about ovens with cameras in them (which actually do exist, but the cameras are pointed, as you say, at the food, and aren’t used in microwave ovens, I don’t think).
