It’s what happens when you have people with no government knowledge or experience at all appointing similar people, all of whom want to destroy the systems they’re in charge of, so they feel no need to learn about those systems. They’re actively trying to sow chaos, too.

They don’t understand squat, but they also don’t care. Bannon and Trump have both expressed distain for the systems of government and a desire to see them totally destroyed. They’re trying to break things, so they don’t care if what’s being written is legal or workable.

It’s Trump in a nutshell - he’ll spend the money to be flashy (i.e. buy an expensive, off-the-rack suit), but not to do things right (i.e. get it tailored). Especially if he can’t figure out a way of stiffing somebody on the bill. Plus, he wears big, shapeless suits to hide his obesity, and not being the kind of guy

It all makes sense now

That presumes they’re competent - and they’re not. Maybe they’re trying things out to see what sticks, but they don’t know what they’re doing; they’re not going to come out with a second round of orders that are, all of a sudden, craftily written. These are guys with no government experience writing orders with no

Three shooters? Well, I guess that means no one can even try to play the “mentally ill lone wolf” card, as this is very clearly organized, anti-Muslim terrorism. And all the nazis crowing about this deserve to get punched.

Surely no one was ever actually taking out ads more than a couple months before a game’s release? Traditionally, publishers rely on the gaming press to create excitement by feeding them bits of information, letting the press do the marketing effort for them before that point. ME: Andromeda doesn’t seem to be any

Annnnnd the CBP is not complying with the court order. So much for the rule of law, folks! That didn’t take long...

Well, I hope voters don’t put up with collaborators, though it can be hard to dislodge incumbents.

I’m sure Disney is thrilled to be working with them. The studio has some understanding of how Disney works (assuming some of the old employees are left), and Disney not only doesn’t have to pay them, they get licensing money from the studio to make the game. Win/win! No one cares about the employees of game

“their release dates put out a few months before release and the hype machines are NOT in full effect.”

Incredibly, I’ve seen that some Democrats have been pointing out how obstructionist the Republicans have been, and trying to take some false moral high ground by suggesting they need to be different. It seems like part of an attitude Democrats have taken since 9/11 - the more divisive the Republicans were, the more

“We look to have a great relationship with all countries... I’m all for that, that would be a tremendous asset [but it’s not going to happen].” There, that’s the meaning of what he said. I mean, it actually conveys nothing of any worth, but...

The Dems sure as hell better vote against her. The best thing that can be said about any of Trump’s picks is that they’re incompetent (as opposed to evil, or, in her case, both incompetent and evil). The Dems seem disturbingly willing to go along with some of his picks, and there doesn’t seem any reason to.

Though it probably is his basis for his understanding of what the lives of average young people in New York are like.

It seems like every young British actor was in Misfits. (And a few not-so-young actors; Michelle Fairley comes to mind.) They had so many episodes and so many guest spots that people on that show ended up everywhere; I’m constantly seeing faces from that show popping up.

I’m wondering how this is going to play out. Seems like there’s a few possibilities - they come up with photos that simply are close-ups of the area where the crowd was (and ignore the fact that plenty of other places were empty), they fake some photos to show crowds that weren’t there to keep from angering the

It was quite the cast, really, and a number have ended up in US films/television (de Caestecker, Natalie Dormer, Tom Ellis, now Kaluuya). It was one of those shows, like Misfits, with hot young talent that ended up heavily crossing over with US productions and Game of Thrones.

Also perhaps the “Fifteen Million Merits” episode of Black Mirror. (And a bunch of other British shows, like Psychoville, Skins, etc.)

Given his lack of knowledge and short attention span, I think either people summarize/read to him or he glances at headlines or skims anything that specifically mentions him (although I suspect he doesn’t even do that, now).
