I’m solidly GenX and I hate that.

Shit, I’m a Millennial and it still looks like a nightmare

I’ll gladly be the youngest millennial boomer out there and say it sucks.

OK Bimmer

It sucks how far the Versa has fallen. back in the aughties, the Versa hatchback was the best economy car on the market. It was quiet, smooth, efficient, had a banging sound system, and good utility. Plus a solid 6MT if that was your jam.

It's not on the list only because everyone forgot about it

Took another sip of the potion - hit the one wheel motion

You know that the person in front isn’t stopped because there’s some obstruction preventing them from doing so, how?

I think the proper thing is to brake, but not swerve.  I’ve never heard of “Just drive through it”.

Living in a rural area, and it being late October, I would hardly call a deer in the road an edge case. I’ve probably seen as many of them driving this week as I have red lights.

Currently a 70/30 split leaning No Dice.

Easy NP. Those customizations can be removed. Getting a Z in reasonable shape for less than $10k is pretty good at this point. There are many that are cheaper, but will have miles, or paint issues, or will generally just cost a lot to make nice.

I fine male in a similar place. All of those stickers and interior crap can be removed easily.

Autotrader has them between $900 for a salvage that doesn’t run, up to $29k for one that runs with 28k miles. NP, since most of the horrid additions would be easy to remove.

two wheels down; shiny side up

Easiest question ever. 1971-1976 Caddy El Dorado convertible. FWD. Put snow tires on the drive wheels sitting under a 500 ci motor and you’ll drive circles around stuck-in-the-snow pickup trucks.   Two couches on wheels and you’ll discover the world is filled with friendly people.

came to see this....and snicker.

His wife will have to wear a shirt skirt and a looooooong jacket.

Mechanics only see broken cars. I have a friend with one, it’s been bulletproof for a couple of decades now. Not exciting in any way, and RWD so doesn’t fit the guys desires anyway.

I bet you can find a Buick Cascada with like 75k miles for around $14-15k. It’s FWD and should be relatively cheap to repair. It’ll have crap resale value, but at least it looks better than the Solara.  On the plus side -- no one will know what it is.  When is the last time *you* saw one of these?
