My X5 doesn’t have it, but my old 330ci had a button that would roll all the windows up/down.  It was really nice.

i know in my Taurus the ACC would turn off when the sensor was dirty or there was snow/dust in the air. You would think that you could still use it as normal cruise, but you cannot. It became really annoying on long trips in the rain.

My X5 does this and it drives me mad.  I do the same thing: put it in reverse, begin to reverse, then BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Which causes me to stop, look, and realize that it’s the pole in front of me.  Why do I need to know that?  The car knows it’s in reverse, can’t they program that into it?

Well, to the contrary, lots of people leave their kids in hotel rooms when there are better options. Some people will do that so they can go out and do drugs and rob people. That's certainly not this woman's story,  but it happens just as much.  It's ignorant to think that all people are trustworthy,  responsible

By the time my wife was nine she was taking care of her 5 siblings because her parents were drunk addicts who just couldn't bother with the kids.  She did the dishes,  cooked,  and did the laundry. She also made them all do their homework and saw they got off to school on time. It enrages me that she was robbed of her

Why don’t you believe the mileage?  This car looks pretty clean.  If you’re suggesting the odo rolled over, then that would be 134,xxx miles.  There’s not enough wear on the clutch pedal and shift knob to suggest that high of mileage.  Also the exterior rubber/plastic bits and the interior in general show like a

That’s where I am.  This is a somewhat interesting car, but you wouldn’t give it a second look in the 80's, and you shouldn’t now.  At least not for this price.  Somewhere in the $4k range considering the good condition and low miles.

I love the independence a car gives me, but would love reasonable public transportation more than anything. You can still keep your car, but maintenance costs would be lower, fuel costs lower, value kept due to decreased wear and tear and mileage. You could even keep just one car for the family.

Yes, it would be nice to always buy the house across the street from work, but do you not see how that isn’t feasible?

I think once we resolve the issues you are talking about we will finally be on a path to full EV driving.  As you said, not everyone has access to electricity where they store their vehicle.  Right now that is the barrier more so than range.  Right now I could take a Nissan Leaf to work. But I couldn’t take it home as

If I’m driving on the road in an extended manner as you describe, I stay in the seat as much as I can. I get out to pee and refill the gas tank. Any time spent for other activities is time wasted; time that I can be using to reach my destination.

It’s not the individual’s choice though.  You can’t take a train that doesn’t exist.  When your government actively discourages efficient rail transportation, you don’t have a choice.  We as individuals can buy cars.  We cannot install rail lines and purchase trains and cars.

The USA’s public transportation system is a joke.  It’s intentionally kept this way to control us and to satisfy government lobbyists.  That’s why we truck everything everywhere and fly everywhere. Trains would be much better suited for all of our needs, but not only do we not expand the rail network, it’s actively

The prospect of charging while at home and never stopping (generally) for fuel is properly enticing. If EV vehicles that had 250-300 miles of range were mass-produced and affordable to the masses (low $20k-$30k range,) then it seems perfectly reasonable for mass adoption. Most folks could then just rent an ICE powered

I think 10-15 minute fillups are perfectly reasonable as long as the range is ~~200 miles, giveortake. People will adjust to that.  People will never accept 40+ minute fillups as a whole.

They don’t care about what we think.

I like her car finds slideshows. Those are the only ones.  This is terrible.

Interesting.  I’ve actually owned a Mitsu TV, but have never seen a Hyundai one.  The Samsung partnership with Renault is intriguing as well.  Thanks for giving me something to research this afternoon.

Nobody cares what you think. STFU.

STFU? Internet tough guy, eh? Resorts to anger and intimidation when he can’t make an intelligent point? You are way overmatched for this job if you can’t carry on a very brief conversation with an average person. I’ll tell you what tough guy. I’ll PM you my address so if you ever feel like telling me to STFU you can
